Remember the cardboard scratchpad I bought to distract the cats from shredding my favourite rug? After little more than three months of intensive use by 5 cats (Joschi and Islay favour the vertical scratching devices) it has been scratched out. I have taken a picture with both the old and the new one next to each other so you can see the difference. As the new scratchpad is a different model, the Senior VP of the Test Department (aka Mira) has taken it onto herself to examine it thoroughly. Though it looks really nice, I think I prefer our old „La Ola“. The new one seems to be too small. Don’t you agree?

Erinnert ihr euch noch an das schicke Kratzmöbel aus Wellpappe, das ich gekauft hatte, um die Katzen vom Schreddern meines Lieblingsteppich abzuhalten? Nach etwas über drei Monaten intensivster Benutzung durch 5 Katzen (Joschi und Islay ziehen die vertikalen Kratzmöglichkeiten vor) ist es jetzt wirklich und wahrhaftig ausgekratzt. Ich habe das alte und das neue Kratzbrett mal nebeneinander abgelichtet, damit ihr den Unterschied sehen könnt. Da es sich um ein anderes Modell handelt, hat es sich der Senior VP unserer hauseigenen Testabteilung (Mira) nicht nehmen lassen, den Neuzugang einer intensiven Prüfung zu unterziehen. Obwohl es nett aussieht, gefällt mir das Vorgängermodell „La Ola“ besser. Irgendwie ist das neue zu klein. Oder was meint ihr?
