Katzenparade Teil 318 - Haargummis

While yesterday’s tunnel or the scratching stem are appropriate cat toys you can trust Mira to chose the most inappropriate ones. Whenever you drop a piece of cling film, a paper clip, a bit of sticky tape or a bottle top you can be sure that Mira will find it and play with it. And she always complains loudly when I have to take these potentially dangerous toys away from her. My scrunchies are another favourite of hers. If one falls out of my pocket or is left on a shelf she will spot it – and of course take it. As they are harmless I would happily allow her to play with them but her wild games always include a lot of scratching and clawing particularly of blankets and rugs and that is not welcome. But watch for yourself!

Während der gestrige Tunnel oder der Kratzstamm geeignete Katzenspielzeuge sind, hat Mira einen Hang zu ungeeigneten. Wann immer ein Stück Plastikfolie, eine Büroklammer, der Clip einer Brotverpackung oder ein Stück Klebstreifen auf die Erde fällt oder versehentlich nicht weggeräumt wird, Mira findet es garantiert und spielt damit. Und es gibt immer ein großes Gezeter, wenn ich ihr dann das potentiell gefährliche Spielzeug wegnehmen muss. Ein weitere Leidenschaft von ihr sind meine Haargummis. Ob mir eines aus der Tasche fällt oder in einem Regal vergessen wurde, sie entdeckt es und nimmt es sich. Eigentlich können die Haargummis ja keinen Schaden anrichten, jedenfalls nicht bei Mira. Allerdings involvieren ihre wilden Spiele immer auch das Verstecken unter Decken und kratzen an Teppichen und das gefällt mir nun gar nicht. Aber seht selbst!

Am Wochenende soll ja heiße Sahara-Luft über uns herfallen wie Mira über die Haargummis. Ich wünsche euch daher schöne, warme Pfingstfeiertage. Wir sehen uns am Dienstag.
