Teil 826 - Der Garten im Februar

You know what a garden issue means: A bit of text, lots of pictures.
In dull and mild January nature was still 5 weeks ahead. The crocuses were starting to bloom and the tulip patch was beginning to look like one. But then came February. It still is bitterly cold and we even have minus degrees at daytime. Now the blooming snowdrops are lying flat on the ground as if Islay had rolled around in them. I cannot properly remove the mole hills because they are frozen solid. So there wasy hardly any development in the February garden.

Ihr wisst ja, was euch bei einer Gartenausgabe erwartet: Wenig Text, viele Bilder.
Im düsteren, milden Januar war die Natur noch 5 Wochen voraus. Die Krokusse begannen zu blühen und das Tulpenbeet begann wie eines auszusehen. Dann kam der Februar. Es ist immer noch bitterkalt und wir haben Dauerfrost. Jetzt, im März, liegen die blühenden Schneeglöckchen schlaff am Boden, als hätte sich Islay darin gewälzt. Ich kann die Maulwurfshügel nicht entfernen, weil sie durchgefroren sind. Es hat sich nicht viel getan im Februar-Garten.
